Tried multiple popup plugins, wpDatatable will not show in a formatted form in a popup when using AJAX. For example, the plugin popup maker, which is a highly used plugin will not show the wpDatatable unless the option ‘Hide until loaded’ is turned off. However this produces a unformatted html version of the wpDatatable and does not allow search or pagination capabilities. There is a support ticket that I created for this as well.
