Image column type, what happens when clicking the image… should definitely be configurable.

In non-editable tables (at least the manual type) the image column opens the full-size image in a new browser tab, this is very frustrating.
The same happens also in Master-Detail view, whether the table is editable or not.

It is generally considered a best practice to almost never open links in new tabs or windows and to allow users the choice to open links in new tabs or not.

An option for URL link columns is available for configuring this, but not for image columns? I hope you can fix this soon… small setting, huge difference.

Actually, there should also be an option not to open the full-size image at all, but the Master-Detail view (when it’s enabled), just like what clicking elsewhere on the row does.
With this option selected, the thumbnail is considered to depict the item enough in the context of the table view and the full-size image could then be opened on the Master-Detail page if desired.
