First of all I have to admit that WPDataTables is a excellent plugin to manage MySQL tables and CRUD editing in back and front end.
For the application I am building I would like to see the following feature.
Use case / situation.
I register volunteers to work at events. I first add a new user and volunteer manually at the backend and apply a minimum of data like name, e-mail and phone.
For all other data needed to do a serious intake of the volunteer, the volunteer is given access with user/password to the application. The volunter add/edits the required missing data.
The application shows, after loggedin, the personal data of the volunteer. This is shown in the wellknown tabular row oriented layout.
Request
Because the application will always show 1 single row of the logged in volunteer, I would prefer to show the data in a stacked layout, like the edit form. All fields vertical positioned.
So the application would start rightaway with the stacked form (view mode) and then depending on the authorisation, also would show and edit button.
Does this fit in the roadmap / filosophy of WPDataTables? And could this be realized?
Kind regards,
